In order for me to accept commission work, I have to really understand the nature of the piece, why it’s being created and the meaning behind it. I also only accept a few commissions a year due to time constraints.

Please note that the submission of your inquiry does not mean that I am accepting the offer to do a commissioned piece for you. It simply allows me to go over initial details and get a feel for what it is you want and if I am the right artist for the job. You will receive an emailed response from me within 3 business days. I may ask you to provide more details about the piece you are hoping I can create.

If there are pieces of mine that have previously sold that you are hoping I can recreate for you, please include that in your inquiry. I will not do entire replicas of my own work because each piece is unique. I should also make it very clear that I do not do replicas of any other embroidery artist’s work, so please do not make that request.

For commissions, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit up front. This can be paid a variety of ways including but not limited to: PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. When I accept your commission, you will receive an invoice from me which will state the final cost of your artwork once completed and how much you will owe at the initial time of commission. Once the piece has been completed, the remaining amount will be collected. Your completed artwork will not ship until the payment has been made in full.

I will likely respond to your initial inquiry and either request that you send me some photographs that reflect what it is you are looking for in a piece. We may continue an email correspondence for some time until I feel that I have got a solid understanding of your vision and it’s intention.

The only commissions that I will accept are for landscapes. I do not do landscapes with buildings, houses or people in them. My artwork focuses on the natural elements of the earth. Although I lean toward American landscapes, I am open to working landscapes of different locations.

Throughout the process of creating your piece, I will send you updates to show you how far along I am with the work I am doing. You will never have to worry about additional costs or fees while the work is being finished. I will have already calculated the costs for materials within the initial invoice. The price amount that we agree upon at the start of your commission will never change.

I do not process refunds for commissions. You will be sent a photograph of your finished artwork before the final payment installation is required. During the process of creating the artwork, no changes can be made. Once the initial sketch is sent to you and you have cleared it with me to begin the work, no adjustments can be made.

Also, please let me know what your budget is and how much you were hoping to pay for a piece. Even if you fall slightly outside of my typical range, I may be able to work with you.
